It would be useful if in the control tree position screen you made size work the same way that crop does when holding down the shift key.

For example you want to squeeze over a video to expose a moving background behind to scroll text over. Well when you size the left or right side, it sizes both and keeps the middle in the middle which makes you have to move the video over to the right or left edge again. If we could hold down shift while sizing one side and have it keep the other side where it is, then it would be much easier to squeeze it down.

I don't get what you're asking for. If you size from the corners the aspect is maintained. If you are asking for a crop fuction, right mouse button allows you to crop one side. Or do you want to resize and not have to reposition the video?

Yes, to be able to resize and not have to reposition the video. Currently when you try to squeeze the video to one side it will use the center of the clip as a pivot point. What I am suggesting is that when if you hold shift when squeezing it would make the pivot point (or locked point) on the opposite side the same way it does when you crop and hold shift.

That reminds me, we need an easier way to change the pivot point of an image.
