Training for Lightwave v9

I am strongly considering using Lightwave but am completely unfamliar with it.

I am trying to find an A to Z, soup to nuts training facility in Southern California, preferably within a half hour drive of Redlands (near San Bernardino).

So far I have found two institutes of higher education, Art Institute in San Bernardino and Platt College in Ontario that use Lightwave but it is part of a degree program, and not strictly intensive Lightwave training.

There are a few online or DVD sources that I could resort to if necessary but if someone in the community knows of an actual learning environment I'd sure appreciate their passing that knowledge along!

Since you are totally new I could suggest Dan Ablan's 3dGarage courseware on LW 9. It starts from a completely new vantage point and goes from there. I have only went through a couple hours and from that point it would be quite beneficial.
