I have received some video clips of a speaker in front of a Blue Scrreen Key background. How can I make the blue background transparent in Lightwave to show a different background behind the speaker?
I have not done this before. The manual is not much help. Are there any tutorials? I could not find any.
I hope some one can help.

There is some way that this can be done with gradients, I'll see if I can dig up the link to the tute.
Keep in mind that LW is not designed to do this sort of work--you'll get better results from a dedicated keyer or compositor.

That's usually done in compositing. Such as After Effects.

In Lightwave, ctrl-f7 will bring up the compositing window. Here you can set your background image/video, a foreground image/video and set your chroma key.

Thank you again for your suggestions. I bought After Effects Pro.
Problem solved.
