Which notebook / cpu

Ok.. Dumb thread alert :)

Option one
HP
AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52 (512 + 512 kb Cache) 1,6 Ghz
2 GB ram
GeForce Go 7200 128 MB

Option numba two
Acer :(
Intel Core Duo T2300 1,66 Ghz
1 GB ram
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 128 MB (up to 512 MB)

So any ideas which processesor is the fastest when it comes to rendering? Would really like that extra gb ram... But I want radeon too :)

i'm toying with the idea of buying a tablet pc. They seem like handy tools if you like to sketch and paint a lot (like textures etc...)

As a main machine I wouldn't really buy a laptop.

The Core Duo is probably the better chip, and the X1600 is also, I think, better. But I've heard bad things about Acer's build quality.

Can you put more RAM in the Acer?

The acer got room for more, but not my wallet ;)...

Its not the main machine.

There are some dual core HP but only with Intel graphics :( (within my price range)...
