I do alot of photo transfers for clients and I came across a situation earlier this week that I couldn't figure out.

I capture photos in one frame increments with a standard setting of nine seconds per photo when I take them into TED. This client wanted wanted me to dissolve between 70 photos at the nine second duration and then at the end of video "flash" each picture up again at just 15 frames per.

Is there a way to make this change without individually changing each photos edit properties? I scoured the manual but as is typically the case it wasn't very helpful.

Any advice is appreciated.

I haven't tested this, but think you ought to be able to create a SubProject of the timeline clips, copy and paste it, then remove all the dissolves (you want to do that, right?) and finally adjust it's length (stretch it) by the appropriate amount to produce the outcome you're looking for.

Unless I'm missing something, can't you just do it in two "parts"? Since the pics are all sitting on a hard drive somewhere:

1) Import all the pics at 9 seconds each, select all, and alt-f to put in the dissolves.

2) Import all the pics again at 15 frames each (after changing prefs) and place them after #1) above.
