Thanks for showing it in detail, did have some issues with this tool yesturday but I will give it a new try this evening:thumbsup:
Thanks, proton; in the long run, this tool'll save me a large block of time as I'm constantly doing manual splits and subdividing in the course of my work.

I'd admit I didn't realize it would do so much. I'll have to keep this in mind.

Same here.. looks like I missed a lot of what it can do.
BTW, wasn't there an extrude edge tools somewhere, or was it incorporated into multishift? I want to select soem edges, and then create new polys by extruding or manipulating the edge multiple times.
(I think there was a "head" video which showed adding a neck and shoulders?)

Extender Plus was used in the video. That should get you what you need.

Hmmm extender plus doesn't appear to work on edges? I selected some edges to test it, while it's fresh in my mind, but nothing happens when I select the tool.

Nothing does appear to happen when you use Extender - let's say you are in the move tool. You hit "e" to extend and what you move is the new edge you've extended...

Just tried that and discovered that. It woulda been nice if they would have changed the selection color or something, to let you know something is still going on.
It does seem to work well though, and I forsee it becoming one of my most used tools!
