Hello,

Can someone point to me a LSCRIPT or a mac based plugin to import xyz coordinate information to a motion file. What I have is sattelite data describe its orbit what I would like to do is import these values which are nothing more than coloums of x, y, z number to a motion file where I can control the length of the motion....

What I have done is import the xyz info into modeler and uses the path to motion plugin but for the motion I want to use the curve creation is immposible and I want to go directly to a motion file without importing the coordinates. The other problem is the fact that path to motion spaces all the point by 5 key frames I just want to limit the overal motion path to whatever time limit i want.

Sorry for the long message and any help would be great.

Simple - Load the motion into Layout, and then just scale the whole thing to the required 'time' using either the scene editor or the graph editor.

Since the list is raw xyz, well, there's no way for LightWave to determine the time between each set of coordinates - However once you have that basic 'every 5 key frames' motion set up, scaling it is a piece of cake! :)
