I have a 2+-hour project I need to render. Can I render the whole thing or do I have to divide it up?

Off the subject - I keep noticing a down arrow icon next to my postings. What does this mean? I see no options to enable or disable this.

depending on disk space, I think the largest file can be measured in years, not hours.

Paul Lara used to have a stat about this.

Maybe he will chime in.

186,000 years maybe?

All depends on your drive space.

I rendered a 2 hr 3 minute wedding video once. The only problem I had was clearing enough drive space to hold the rendered clip.

It means you've been a bad boy, and it's duly noted in your PERMANENT Record. :D

That is just an indication that it's the latest new post in that thread, Jim. :p

And since you see the arrow everytime you log on, it indicates that your post is worth reading. You've officially been validated!;)

Muchas Dankas Gracious Am'igos! Most comforting! Years huh? Nice!

Glad to know that down arrows don't mean people are implying anger. Whew! What a relief!

Another question?
Any ideas how much a duplication house charges for duplicating a 2hour DV-AVI file from your firewire drive to VHS tapes for distribution?

Cheers and thanks to you all!
