Viewport Won't Update

Hey mac users...

Do the viewports have some sort of cache holding old data?
BR viewport set at "Left" keeps bringing back the same old (and wrong) image when deleted and reloaded into that viewport. I did the same process on my PC with no issues. Is this a mac bug?

have you checked the image in the image editor? is it correct? try the "replace" button

yeah, that doesn't work either. looks like i'll just re-install the blasted thing again for the hundredth time...i love my mac, but there's always seems to be some "issue" doing any 3d on it.
