I'm searching for another PolyBelt/Band UV creator, one exactly like UV Spider, BUT, one that does NOT place all UV coordinates in a even spaced UV Map.
It needs to keep the distance between the individual points of the object in respect, so i can just wrap a texture neatly around a object without getting my texture ripped to shreds...
Does anyone know of a plugin like that (and i did try UV Bandmapper, but it doesn't work correctly (it starts out OK and then gives errors (some sort of angle/smoothing bug))
Anytime soon would be great, i think it is a greatly missed feature (plguns enough that distribute UV ordered, but none that leave your objects features in place)
