Hi there:

I have just gotten our TricasterPro. On the manual says that we should have the iVga aplication for MAC OS X on the Disc...but it shows only the PC version.

Where can I get the MAC Version? I didn't see it on the support page

Thanks

We had to delay the release of Mac iVGA to sort out some last minute technical issues.

It will be available very soon however.

Any ideas on how long we will have to wait as we have just got our Tricaster and have a 300+ strong Mac network with MacBooks in all the meeting rooms?
Thanks.

The current iVGA file is an executable file that does not work on MACS. So is it safe to assume you will be creating a whole new file?

Also, what does "very soon" mean to you? Seeing as you posted this message in July and I am asking the same question in October.

Our music minister/graphics guy, is a MAC user and he keeps trying to give me files that just won't work in transferring to the PC. (especially video) I would really like to hook up the G4 I have available to me.

Is there a way you can let us know when it is available without having to constantly check the site?

Thanks
Mary Beth

Mary Beth,
The Mac version is still in beta, but e-mail me (plara@newtek.com) and I'll see about getting you a version to test for us.

Hi I would also be interested in doing Beta-testing of the iVGA on the Mac. I have used Macs for years, but since the VT only came on PC I had to switch over. It rocks for live switching, but I still have lots of applications on the Mac, which I use.

I've found that almost all files, if done right, are cross-capatible between the Mac and PC. I have both on the same network and share different videos & graphics between them all the time.
