Finding the size/dimension info of an object?

Hi,

Is there a stats bar for sizes and dimensions for a selected object? I'm aware of the measuring tool, but I think it's a pain to use. It seems it would be more efficient to have a size window that displays info much like the little XYZ window in the lower left corner of the program.

open the surface editor, apply a procedural map to a channel, hit "automatic size" and look at the scale

Or use Modify/Absolute Size which will show you the current bounding box size

hmm - I don't have that one - but I just found "BoundingBox" under Construct/Measure
