first of all, greets to all of you, since this's my first post here :-)

just to note for edge bevel in lw9 and possible address for fix, both

Hi greent, there are some more issues related to edgebevel, I believe NT is well aware of this. The problem you mentioned probably(I'm almost sure) happens because edgebevel doesn't work on edges and it's just a quick hack on the old code that converts edge selection to point selection before applying the command.
I hope there's a new edgebevel in the next update. If not someone will eventually make a plugin.
At the moment there's wedgebevel that you can use as an alternative. It doesn't work with edges, but still works good.
