Did you use the Spherical mode? The image looks more like the distortion you see with the Cylindrical mode.

He Who Still Wishes He Didn't Have To Dig Into The Advanced Camera For These.

I think I used Spherical mode...45 degrades as far I can remember.
Or was it Cylindrical mode?...didn`t save the scene so I can`t tell.

Yes. Disturbing, isn't it!

i had the same kind of an eye last year...got a small metal fragment in my eye at work and had to go to a hospital to remove it, as a part of the removal progress they put adrenaline drops on to my eye so that the black part of it got HUGE.

the next 24 hours after those drops i felt pretty much as a vampire, eyes set on nightvision in the middle of a sunny day...even at night staring at the headlights of a car or the lighting in the shopwindows felt like staring straight into the sun.

hmmm....the memory of the doctor drilling on my eye to remove the metalfragment reminds me that i need to get back to work on my portfolio so that i can get a "normal" job.

In my case, I had just had an eye exam, and they did the wonderful dilation drops thing, so everything was super bright on the way home. When I saw what they looked like, I just had to grab some photos. This one lent itself well to a little Photoshop liquify trickery. :)
