I upgraded from version 4.1 to 4.6. But after it, I was not able to play video and capture in one time. I use 2 SCSI320 Seagate 10000rpm drives. With VT3 and VT4.0 or 4.1 I was able to play rendered rtv files from VTedit, mix it by chroma key with SDI video and capture PGM or Preview out. But when I upgraded to VT4.6, I cannot do it, because video from VTedit freeze and I get dropped frames and error message (Unable to keep up with this capture configuration). I can hear HDD heads seeking like fool, but with VT4.1 there was no problem (and no sound from HDD). It looks like disk acces routine in VT4.6 is completly different, looks like disk cache is not used. I'm still using Windows 2000 SP4, so question is if VT4.6 is not optimize for XP only. I tried autoconfig, enable/disable HDD management in preferences, but nothing worked. When I downgraded back to 4.1, all is fine again.
