Alrighty then...
time to dust off the Toaster Box and give it another go.
We've had to put it aside due to budget constraints and
now there's V3 coming up...
so my question is this...

Can someone shoot me a quick list of parts needed to
build a PC that will allow the Toaster to simply edit video,
we don't need any live switching just simple capture and
edit stuff. But we'll want to be compatible with the V3 upgrade.

I've done that before and it cost me dearly.

We built a system exactly to the specs on
the website, which have changed since then
by the way, and it still didn't work the way
it was supposed to.

Our local vendor, and they're just awesome,
checked the system and the only thing he
could find wrong was the VIA chipset and
this was just guessing. Otherwise, I was told
it should have been working fine. And the
board was tested on another system and did
in fact run flawlessly.

Ergo...
I usually check with the vendors and/or other
users to see exactly what works and what doesn't.
Go figure.
