Sometime when i want to substract or union some objects i get this message:

Internal buffers too small for requested operation.

Sometime, object for boolean operation are simple (very simple) and sometime very complex, many points/poligons.
When they are simple, and boolean operation won't work ... i'm freaking!!!
With complex object ... i understand if boolean won't work properly.

What shode i do?
Can i change tollerance or capacity of internal buffers?

I have AMD 3800+, 1GB RAM ...

Thanks in advance!!!

Usually on simple objects when the boolean won't work, the edge of both objects are sharing the same space. Move that edge slightly will make it work.
As for complex objects, upgrade to 8.3 or higher so it can support more points per polygon.

For Booleans I tend to clean up both objects. I make sure that the shapes are all solids and closed e.g a box has all six sides to make a solid and all corners have only one point. No stray 1 or 2 point polys.

Why are you using 8.0 when you shoould be able to use 8.5?

Hope this is helpful.
