Hi,
I just spent an hour setting up a scene in lightwave 7.5c with 100 coins that I am attempting to us Motion Designer to simulate them pouring/falling into a large plate.
Everytime I click on the MD Controller icon, it "Generates Errors" and kills LightWave.
Has anyone seen this behavior and is there a work around for it?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jeff

It always freezes on me, or the geometry gets all out of whack, i really want to use it but it keeps not working!

Try it with some thing simpler first, I don't know how much experience you have with it, but just try a few coins and see if that works..

with md hang up check this :
- verify at start of simulution that object not touch other obj
- verify the weight of scene (sometimes md with very high poly count use two, three minutes before starting simulation
- try to put down a precision of simulation
- cut off multithreading on md panel, md with multithreading active be mad, especially in collision. (i hope new md correct this bug).
-try with less poly at time, to check if is you rsetting or other problems
-if have install last 7.5c update check that lw not mix old new plugin, which is cause of a lot of troubles, if it's true, reinstall lw75c in a new folder.
good luck.

I found this out before your post but definatly turn off multi-threading with it, at least if your on a single processor with no hyperthreading, once i turned it off it stopped crashing, but i try to make solid/hard balls and they always distort, but i think i might be able to get it!
