Hello All;
I just placed an order for VT-5 last Friday and I was wondering ...

Did Newtek post details on all of the improvements that we'd get when going from VT-4 to VT-5 ? I know VT-5 will have High Definition Capability, but besides what I've read in the few press releases Newtek released at NAB, I don't know anything about what I just purchased ?

Am I missing something, or didn't they release this information yet ? If there is a list of features/improvements for VT5 posted somewhere, please direct me to it. Thanks.

Tim

Well, I found THIS (ftp://ftp.newtek.com/pub/VT5/) while poking thru the older Amiga Files. It's in the public folder, so I guess it's OK to reference.

That was the NAB brochure.

On page 7 of the brochure it lists AURA.

Is that a version of Mirage that's been re-named back to Aura...
A NewTek re-coded version of the old Aura...
Or the same old same ol' version that was pre-Bauhaus? ...again...

I really like your new site layout Eugene.
Great colors.

Thanks, it's amazing what you can get nowadays with a parking site! :)

Oh, as for the other thing... That would be the same OLD Aura...

But frankly, I don't care, I have Mirage, as everyone should! :)

I am sure they Speed Edit will also have the same ability that VT4 has of just loading a folder of animation frames and turning into a video clip but might as well ask.. does anyone know if that is the case?

That is the case. So, case closed. :thumbsup:
