I am having some trouble figuring out why something is happening. In the attached 3 figures is a vary simple Boolean Subtraction operation. the problem is after I make a Boolean Subtraction, the geometry does not seem to close. It leaves both 1 and 2 point polys. Figure 3 is the selection of the 1 point polys, then moving then up slightly. This open geometry causes smoothing problems in my renders. Why does it not connect the points?
