Ok, I'm figuring out the tricaster pro. Yes mine crashes too. As I do the non-linear editing, how do you place CG into the edit. I see no way to do this. I assumed it would be like in live production. My boss thinks you have to render the video edit then in live production add the CG. Boy if that is true that would make it alot harder. I checked the VT 4 manual and the pro just does not have what the 4 does. thanks.

TriCaster PRO uses CG Post to create titles in your project.
Go to the File Bin and click on the Titles button to navigate to the folder where you can find not only blank CG pages, but also a folder with nearly 200 pre-build CG pages ready for modification.

Paul can I update them in the Edit media like live, and then drag them in the storyboard or timeline?

Yes if you drag the template to the timeline or storyboard. Then with the clip selected goto Controls and select Title Compose. Now select the Text tool and you can edit the text you want to change. Once all the changes have been made hold down control and left click and drag the cg back to the file bin and it will make a copy for you to use later in other projects.
