Reinstalling 7.0 Licence Key

Just rebuilt my computer but forgot how to add my permanent license key number. Using Windows. Can anyone tell me the name of the file that I must edit to finialize installation.

Thanks for responding. I thought that the installation would have created this file; if I remember correctly.

Initially, I did a search for it but didn't find it. So I created the file in note pad, type in just the permanent key, and save it in the lightwave program director under Licence.key.

When I restart Lightwave I get "hardware lock was not found" Running in Demo Mode.

Maybe my sentinal installation was not successful and I need to reinstall it again.

I remember that I was not a complicated procedure, I just can't remember the steps.

Any ideas?

I'm having similar issues at the moment. I like lightwave alot, but it's a real pain whenever you have to reinstall it OR the os, the later being my current problem. Have you put the License.key in the Lightwave_support folder? Make sure it's extension is .key.
At the moment I'm getting the same sort of error messages as yourself, so it'll be more than just that. I'll let you know how I go.

I just re installed the sentinal and its working fine!
