Hi All,

I've spent some time researching the options for capturing the audio for an animation project I am producing. I've settled on WAVELAB to process the voice tracks, primarily because Steinberg makes a plug-in called VOICEMACHINE that is a pitch/formant processor that can manipulate the sound of a voice.

Everybody in both camps, video and audio, says don't put anything else besides video or audio data on the data drive(s). I'll be using a BOXX system with three SCSI drives in a RAID for the video data. Will it really kill both applications to share those drives? I won't be mixing any music, just running the voice tracks through WAVELAB.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Tom

Thanks Paul,

I downloaded the Wavelab demo and played around with it. Wow, what a fun way to look at and play with audio.

The Steinberg/Wavelab people concurred, BTW.

'Open Architecture' is a good thing.
