exporting ... help...

hi, i've seen alot of people use light wave make an animation and export it ... or at least display it as a gif ... I'm trying to do this but don't know how ... any help would be much appriciated on ... exporting in general.

What are you realy trying to do ? If you want to generate an AVI or a sequence of file configure your render with the render panel (Rendering/Render option...) go to the "Output Files" tab. For a movie (avi,mov,...) select the first button "Animation file" for sequences of files select the second button "RGB Files".

Then if you want to transform that in a gif animation, you should use some tools (Photoshop or any other gif builders)
