Such though being produced? [ win ]
http://www.pictrix.jp/Eg_Move_001.zip

It is moved without selecting geometry.
The connected geometry moves when the vertex is dragged.
When the paste etc. are done on the way and data changes
It clicks by the blank in the view port or the Reflash button is pushed.
Though only FG primary layer....

hi again pictrix-san!!!
i love the Eg_Move tool especially with a lot objects in one layer. it makes selecting one object at a time to move that object obsolete.

i do have one request:

how about a drop down menu on the numeric panel, to choose either to drag the vertex or the polygon face or the polygon edge.

this is very useful already thank you again!

Hi Thank you Wickster
Is it a thing to choose the dragged place?

Hello Pictrix-san :) yet another fantastic tool. Domo arigato gozaimasu ;)

Another thing that would be great as an option is if you could set the sensitivity of selection. As in how close to the vertex you have to click to pick up and move an object.

I would also love to be able to somehow constrain movement to the axes in the perspective view.

Thank you very much again for your great contributions to the LW community:thumbsup:

Hi Thank you Wickster
Is it a thing to choose the dragged place?
Yes please.

A better way is to do is a checkbox which will allow users to choose the place to be dragged. We can then drag by vertex or edge or polygon or cpmbination of 2 or all 3.

Thanks you.

Seems a bit buggy, using copy and paste in conjunction with this has made LW crash twice in the 5 mins I've been using it...

You can use the Drag tool with Point Radial falloff set to something immense for this as well, if I understood correctly?

in addition to wickster's suggestion of poly/point selection type, i think radial falloff, if this is possible at all, would be great. currently, in lw, we already have the Drag Network Tool, but this tool requires that the cursor is on top of a point, which can be sometimes hard to do. this is just a suggestion to consolidate the functions of the current Drag Network Tool so all we need to use the next time is Eg_Move. ;)

beevee: yeah, currently that's how eg_move works. hopefully it works with polys if Pictrix can do it. :)

Hi all

I was overlooking a snap drag tool.

A useless thing was done, and it troubled you.
I'm sorry.
It ends.

No need to be sorry.
If this was exspanded to move/rotate/scale. It would be awsome.
Snap drag works nicely. But it only moves things.

Man i can't wait till Newtek can make falloff a plugin type.

It is no trouble. Eg_Move is great starting point to become a more greater move tool. I think you should continue to develop Eg_Move. Because Some of us don't like selecting connected polys all the time just to move them. Adding in Eg_Roll/Rotate and Eg_Scale/Size into one plugin like Eg_Modify then this would be really powerful. Great Job Pictrix.

Does anyone think we need a better bend or lathe tool?

(Pictrix cbend is one of the most handy plugins. you wanna make a curved bridge. make it straight, UV it and then use cbend to deform it to te desired shape. wicked plugin. shame its bust in 9.3)

Gutted, I know development means this sort of thing can happen, but losing a Pictrix plugin is like losing a finger. ;)
