w2k reload woes

I'm having a frustrating time at the moment. I had to re-install w2k, and now lightwave won't recognise the dongle. I tried running the install from my last upgrade , and once again got the message "hardware lock not found", even the parallell port dongle is in nice and sound. I'm running 6.5b. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest to check the Sentinel driver.

Thanks for the tip, I seem to recall the sentinel driver being part of the problem............but..........forgive me if this seems ignorant...............what am I supposed to do with the sentinel driver? I have three seperate versions of sentinel drivers running. one is linked to combustion...........so I'm sure it's not that.......one is from rainbow technologies and the other.....I don't know?
