Hi guys. I descovered Im a toon person. So I made this dangerous fish.
Ive attached pictures of dangerous fish in various angles and the D.A - Inside pictures for you to see. D.A - Inside simply means Diedon's Artwork - Inside, of course :)
Im looking for a good, likable toony character, that would somewhat impose its negative beeing somehow. Crazy teeth, sharp fangs, blood red eyes are what I have so far, tell me weather they are doing their trick. And what could enhance is imposing.
By the way whats the best way to call them toons or animas.
Cheers
Diedon
If you want to get across personality we will have to see it animated or with some expressions of emotion. Right now he looks like a plastic toy without any reference. Give us an update with some personality.
And "toons" is probably the word you are looking for. Anime usually has a reference to a particular Japanese style of animation.

I was thinking that you may need to add other spikey fins to the sides. The brows can be brought down a bit more in the middle to add an angry look. Perhaps pull up the corners of the mouth to bring some insanity to his features, if you like. Think "shark" with the teeth, you need many more, smaller teeth, some curved forward some backward etc. Do a search on google for shark pics etc to get the idea. The claws seems to be missing some important detail. If you look for pics of crabs, lobsters etc you will see that in addition to the claw geo being different you will also see that there are smaller "teeth" inside the claws too. Adding more detail to the claw geo will definitely add more of a nasty look.
I'm pretty new at this myself and I do not intend to come off as anything else but a newbie, but one other thing unrelated to your question I noticed is that the texturing on the sides of the claws and the lower lip (likely the upper lip too) is stretched in places. This takes away from the effect you are going for, as it distracts my attention away from the rest of the fish. You may want to use UV maps instead.
I hope I helped
