I have a banner for my web site (http://www.kingdomof3d.com) that I'm in the middle upgrading and need your opinion. I did the best I could on the texture in the background.
Here it is (the reason it is kind of raised up is because it will look like it is siting on the nav bar in my website):

The "3D" text in blue is a little hard to see. Needs more contrast there. Otherwise, lookin' good.

The text is still too dark. Dark text on a dark background isn't very noticable. Try lightening the color. It doesn't have to be BRIGHT red, but light enough to give a good contrast that makes it easy to read. You might even try using a glow effect--that could be cool. Anyway, it's a judgement call for you to make. The banner looks very nice, anyway.
