extrusions

i found a similar thread on extrusions....i stil don't understand how the hell to use the plugin that was recomended.

it was suggested that i make a disk...then a spline...import them into layout..

i think that i did this properly.

then under add displacement for the disc, i was to use the plug in highlighting the spline.

i don't know what i am suppose to do from here....

i hope that someone can help me with this
