audio problems solved with card repair

After 2 weeks of trying all the fixes, I finally sent my card back and sure enough, it needed repair. From reading the work order, something was repaired or replaced and something was added. Now it works like a dream The audio stuttering totally gone.

I said I would post the result when it resolved and so I am. Thanks again to everyone who tried to help. But special thanks to the NewTek technicians in Texas who FIXED IT! Hooray! And the turn-around time was amazing.

Great to hear, and may I offer congratulations as well on the stalwart and patient approach you took to resolving the issue. While things like this can be really frustrating, approaching them in a calm and resonable manner sure makes getting through them less painful - kudos! :)

Thanks, Steve. Actually, I am so in love with the VT that I'm willing to wade through just about anything to get my stuff looking that good! Since I have your attention, I have a question.

I have been doing 2D anim for a long time so working in Aura was not hard to learn.

But I've never done 3D at all. Is there a very beginning Lightwave walk through anywhere to just get a person started? I've been trying to find something in the manual but haven't yet. I just need a starting point to build on. Thanks, if you know of anything. (I consider you one of my best sources of info. I'm not sure that's a good thing from your pov.)
