Guys,
I had been having trouble with LW. My graph editor wouldn't work. It pops open and immediately closes. Also, when I try to add a particle emmitter or effector, LW has a fatal error and quits. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled LW 7.5 from the CD. When I started it, it said that I had 14 days to register. I opened the license key file, typed in my license key number, and saved the file. Now when I open it, it says that the license key is invalid and that it will only run in demo mode. I think I read some stuff in the forums about this problem. I can't seem to find the appropriate posts. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get LW running again. Thanks.

One thing about the license: I would check the Sentinel driver.
As far as crashing: Try deleting all the cfg files; lw3.cfg, lwm3.cfg, etc.
I also read on a user group about registry entries. I had a plugin that kept crashing and I did all the above to no avail. I found that there were corrupted registry entries. Search the registry for Newtek and you'll see items listed there, especially under Lscripts.

My graph editor wouldn't work. It pops open and immediately closes.

I had the same problem a while ago, to fix this just delete Lightwaves cgf. files.(lw3.cfg, lwm3.cfg, etc.)
Then reload your plugins.
TIP: Always backup your cgf. files, because this could happend again (it did with me).
That way u don't have to reload your plugins, settings etc.

I opened the license key file, typed in my license key number, and saved the file.

Make sure u save it as license.key and NOT license.key.txt,
and place it in the same location where LightWav.exe, Hub.exe & Modeler.exe are.

If u still have trouble then I suggest u search in the old Lightwave Forum.(I think I saw similar question on this subject)
