A few months ago, someone posted a script I believe, that allowed you to place a light in a scene and render the shadows from that Light, but not have the light affect the scene otherwise. Anyone remember that one? Is there another way to do that? I would like to use it to render Sasquatch shadows if possible (which only recognizes shadow mapped spotlights), but not use the spotlight lighting.

I know it's possible with Overcaster.

Basically it's two lights: one with shadows, one with a negative intensity that cancels out the intensity of the first light.

If that's what you're thinking of...

clone your light and put a negative value.

valter, with the shadow lights script, you don't need two lights to keep track of. it's one light colored black with a white shadow and a negative intensity. or whatever color you want your shadow to be, just use it's inverse.
