Love to see airplanes! Please show wire versions along with your OGLs.
Will you also please post a link to the tutorial you used?
Thanks,
-Jeff

The site to the plane tutorial is http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mark.davies/ unfortunately it refers to lightwave 6.5 which dates back a bit.

but once you find out where the functions have been moved to it's not too bad :)

and unfortunately i'm not really extremely familiar with all of lightwaves functions :hey: , i don't no how to show the wire versions and my OGLs :stumped:

Looks like you're off to a good start. As for your wires you can just take a screenshot of your mesh in modeler and post that.

Screen shot of Textured Wire view in Modeler for wires and screen shot of Textured view for OGLs (Open GL graphics used in Modeler). Then you don't have to waste time doing test renders while you focus on modeling and posting your WIP.
Thanks for the link!
Looking forward to more updates from you!

there is the textured wireframe view, not sure why half of it went blue. shows the same thing anyway :D . I've subpatched it so it smoothes it out, not sure whether its a good idea because it's hard to add detail without it stuffing up the subpatching.
