How do I acces the particle tab,it's ghosted out.
:help: I want to experiment with particles....he he he!:)

I think I had something similar. Try rescanning all your plugins to see if that helps.

I had a similar problem. But then I ran across a "fix" for the Multishift replacement of supershift, and it seemed to resolve my particle problem at the same time. I can't find the original thread that had more detailed instructions, but you can find the basics here:

scan the LSCRIPTS folder. or manually go into the
\LightWave 3D\Plugins\lscripts\interface\layout
folder (it should be similar. i forget what version of Lightwave moved it
into the PLUGINS folder. I think it was 8.5, so prior to that it might exist
in the same folder AS the Plugins folder....) and add all the lscripts that
begin with "add_".
there should be 4 of them, add_wind.ls, etc.
these are the helper Lscripts that automate the manual way of adding dynamic objects to your scenes.
