I need to find an EPS power supply unit for a Tyan Mobo KW8E (2877) and I'm having trouble finding the correct type I need. I know its meant to be EPS, but there seems to be variations on this. I need one with ATX + 8 pins.
Any suggestions?

I did some research and alot of people recommend the Tagan 480w. In fact its what some pre-built dual cpu workstations from XFS are using. So I figured if its good enough for them then for me too!
I've only got one HDD and one GFX card, and not so many USB devices, so I think it should handle everything ok.
1000w in your system! - what you running with that - your local town!!:D

I really think u should go to TYAN's web site and look at there required power supplies for that MotherBoard...they list the appropriate power supply, don't guess which one u need they have a good list of power supplies that the motherboard requires...Tyan Motherboards require allot of power...
I am, Running AMD, Dual Opteron [2 processors], 64 bit, on a TYAN K8WE 2895 MB, 2 GEForce 7800 GTOC video cards, 8 gig Regestered ddr ram, 2 - 250 gig Sata drives, 2 IDE 400 gig HD's
My Machine Specs are below in my signature..
