EPSF loader problems in Modeler LW 6.5 Mac

Hi all,

I am trying import an EPS file from Illustrator 9 (mac) into LW 6.5 modeler using the EPSF plugin. .

I select import, find the file and click OK and acts as if it is loading, but nothing ever appears in Modeler.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

system specs: Mac G4 running OS 9.2.2 w/768 megs of RAM.
LW specs: Lightwave 6.5

I've tried both EPS export and just saving the file as an Illustrator document, but get the same results. . .

EPSF loader is a pain in the derriere. You have to make sure you save the file as an Illustrator eps from version 8.

Also, make sure you have the object as outlines - so if it's text you have to go Type>Create Outlines, and then save as v8.0 eps. This should work okay - it does for me, anyway...
