Hey guys!

I started working again with Lightwave. I've started 2 days ago by
reading the book "Essential Lightwave 3D 8". At the moment I'm at
page 79 and I've learned some new things.

I'm posting this to see what you think about this render I made. It's
the first time I use the text tool in modeler and I can say it's easy
and cool to use. I'm hoping to get some new things to add on this
render but for now, I just want to know what you think about this. Comment!:)

the S looks like a 5. Besides that, if you add a small bevel to the front of your text it would add to it's appeal. And / or change the colour / brightness of the sides to help make the front stand out more.

About that S that looks a 5, it's really a 5 like my nick here. I changed the brightness of the sides. I don't know if this is what you mean but here it is.:)

I can't see the second image. In the surface editor turn on the smooth option, the side of your letters look faceted.

well that helped differentiate the front from the side.. It's poorly lit tho.. needs more than one light source. I don't know how well rainbowey text goes with a black background. How about sky-blue?

Also, the font is a weird choice for rainbow-coloured letters.

Also also, isn't rainbow-coloured letters kind of... homosexual in nature?

Ah...lol dude...nah the colors were just to try out..to see how it would be..i forgot to say but I'm a newbie with lightwave, so don't expect that much from me now..I don't know how to texture the things like I would like and I barely understand how to UV...About the background I can get some blue sky there..:o:(

Nah I wasn't suggesting any kind of texturing. Just a lighting improvement.

P.S. Not that there's anything wrong with homosexuality.. But the rainbow is like their flag here in the US. In case you didn't know. :)
