Hi guys.

This is my first proper commercial model. Made for a pen and paper roleplay book.

The image still needs a little tweaking. It rendered in 1 hour with 3x9 radiosity on the car. Constructive crits wecome.

Cheers,

Simon

Is it finished, or a work in progress?

a little dirt/dust, especially on the tires - other than that, it looks great.

Looks pretty good:) .
Having someone actually driving the buggy, with some blur on the tires and a dust cloud behind it would add a lot.

Very good, apart from the tires - I agree with the other guy, they look a bit too smooth and new.

Yeah, I sorted the threads, but I cant show you the results because I sold the image and no longer have any rights to post it!

Nice buggy!
Good composite job. reflections on bumper look good.
The other guys already mentioned to need for some imperfections on the tires.
I just wanted to mention 2 things:

1. soften your shadows just a little. Check out your bushes on the left side of the pic as a reference.

2. fake (or make) a little radiosity underneath the buggy. It's too black in the shadow. You might get away with coloring the shadow (more grey) and/or compositing the shadow separately and just giving it a little transparency.

Oops just one more note:
The winshield glass seems a little flat/plain. Do you have a fresnel efftectset on it? how about refraction index or caustics? I can't put my finger on what it is.

Great job!
