Updating from VT4.5 to 4.6c?

:question: I have my original VT CDs from my initial build for version VT4 but have since upgraded (via download) to version 4.5.

My question is do I have to first uninstall version 4.5 to get back to my base build of VT4 before installing 4.6c or can I install it on top of my existing 4.5?

It's been a while since I've done a software upgrade to VT but I seem to remember something about only installing one upgrade on to a base version of the software?

You CAN since 4.6.c is a patch.
But...because I'm paranoid, (and for other reasons), I did a complete un-install, defragged the drive and did a 4.0 install and then ran the patch.
