Hi there.
Is it possible in lightwave to shatter an image, the particles that are produced being objects textured with the area of the image that spawned them?
Attached is an example (.mov) I created in After effects, but I need to be able to rack focus the move and there is no real way I can do this with shatter in AE (short of masking out individual letters).
Tried various methods in LW (have HD instance) but the problem is getting the letters attached to the particles that generate from the image textured correctly. World co-ords with planar is correct on frame one but of course then the particle objects look like they are passing thru a front projection.
The solution may be really simply but I'm really stuck! Help!!
