I am using Lightwave 6.5
In my scene I have a globe with 5 shafts Boleaned down to the centre (representing holes a little larger so 5 computer looking keys can float within them), the inside shaft polygons are named differently from the outside surface of the globe. The 5 keys surfaces are also named differently. In perspective there is a halo look (top of the shafts) around the keys.
I would like to know how it will be possible after rendering to get the keys and top of the shaft that are visible to be alpha channeled out of the globe. All I am getting so far is alpha shapes representing the shapes of the 5 hole tops but not the keys combined with them.
I hope I've explained myself so somebody can help me.
