I ordered it also but I want them to squash as many major bugs as possible before releasing it as a public beta. The more time we give them to accomplish this, the better off we are going to be, then we can dig out all of the hard to find bugs that would pop up in every day use.

We certainly do not process payment for a product before that product ships to the customer (or to the reseller who is ordering on behalf of the customer), and pretty much all of our resellers that I am acquainted with follow the same policy. If your payment has in fact already been processed, have you discussed the matter with your reseller?
