Hello, I have relocated my Video Toaster Flyer system to a Tower including the Amiga 4000D. I just cant seem to get the Auto Hue to setup properly. I have folowed the instructions and still no luck.
I have been able to do it once or twice but as soon as I reboot the computer it again goes back to what you see http://www.amiga.org/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=2558&cid=38 here.

Hi Bill,
No I have not been able to get it working, I think it has something to do with my TBC or the power supply in that tower.
Just for your info I have 7 10k SCSI drives, two Kitchen sync's and a Personal TBC IV all running off an older atx 250watt power supply. I am wondering if thats where the problem is.

I have a couple of suggestions I would like you to try:
#1 Take the Flyer out of the system.
#2 Delete the HS file.
#3 Run just the Toaster software (not any of the Flyer software).
#4 Compare DV1 to DV2 as far on your frame buffers.
#5 If the video is not locking properly, this might be a Center Frequency issue.
I am really curious to know if this helped you.
If you have to go to the Center Frequency section, here is the link:

Hi and thanks for your input,
I already tried without the Flyer card and have the same problem. I did a CF adjustment as well and it was only .3 of a volt off the proper -2.1 setting.
When I do the autohue with a camera connected directly to the Toaster it works fine. As soon as I hook back up the TBCs and my Black burst generator to input #1 on the kitchen sync TBC and I restart the Amiga and T/F it looses its sync as seen in the picture. This is why I suspect a power issue with my Tower that holds the TBCs and the Flyer drives.
I tried disconecting the Blackburst generator and hooking up my camera to the input 1 on the TBC and did an autohue it worked the first time but when I rebooted the computer and restarted the T/F it again lost the sync. The strange thing with all this is sometimes it will autohue properly and I can use the T/F just as it was ment to be but as soon as i restart I again have the same issue.

Contacted Newtek today. They will be repairing the problem it seems it may be a problem with the video prosessing section.
I am very pleased with Newtek's customer service as they still more than 10 years after releasing the Toaster Flyer still support it.
