To Newtek mainly:
I am the proud owner of 3 Video Toaster systems at the moment, one I got from Victor Flores about 3 years ago with serial # 7201634, and then this year, I bought another 2 systems, serial # 7220002540 and serial # 7220002733, from Jorge González, at Sistec, they run the "Video Toaster Latin Community" at http://www.toasterclub.com/index.php and, then the other guys at http://www.grupocvc.com , this guys seems to have a battle to sell, and I KNOW "GRUPO CVC" "ARE" the authorized dealers acording to http://www.newtek.com/dealers/international.html as I NOW know.

You wrote:
>Hello Victor,
>Can you please help this customer.
>Thank you,

>Ben

and then Victor wrote to me:
>Hola Fernando, desgraciadamente a la persona que acostumbras comprar tus equipos no figura dentro de la lista de distribución autorizada,
te puedo ayudar en algo.

translating mens:
>Hello Fernando, unfortunnately the people you are used to buy from does not appear in the authorized dealers list, can I help you.

(ironic?)...So, now, am I left in the middle of the ocean here? do I have to look for a refound on my latest Toasters? are my VT2s "pirate hardware & software"?

I'M VERY WORRIED ABOUT THIS, SINCE I KNOW BOTH GUYS (VICTOR AND JORGE) FOR YEARS NOW, AND IT HAPPENNED THAT JORGE GOT ME A BETTER DEAL!!!
AND I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE AUTHORIZED DEALERS.....

I'm a Video toaster User AND much more a LIGHTWAVE user since the beggining of the 90's, and I'm asking for you help here.
Thanks a lot.

I think this should not happen. Both, Grupo CVC and the guys of SISTEC ToasterClub (http://www.toasterclub.com) are selling Newtek products here.

So if anyone buy a Toaster or whatever, I think he deserves to have support from Newtek, it does not matter how the bussiness is call.... GrupoCVC or SISTEC.

Paul, and let me tell you, Fernando is a Newtek user since 1991 as I am. Both of us have had good relations with Newtek and have been involved in Amiga Expos, VideoToaster Expos and so on. Both have given training in LightWave, Aura and the VideoToaster.

Both companies are giving support here, moreover, the guys at SISTEC and their site is giving great support acroos the forums @ ToasterClub (http://www.toasterclub.com). They are doing a great job translating tutorials, manuals, answering questions, and so on.

So, if a company like SISTEC that is giving a great support throug their portal that I beleive myself is a great portal for the mexicam market and Newtek is not endorsing it, something has to be wrong with all of this matter.

Do not missunderstood, I am not saying that GrupoCVC is a bad company but SISTEC must be recognized by Newtek because they are doing theri work.

As a matter of record, NewTek provides support to ALL its VT customers, regardless of how you got it.*

*unless you have stolen your Video Toaster card from a convent of blind nuns.
