White bg in dialogs makes reading impossible

I have just had to re-install LW and now all the places you put parameters have a white background instead of dk grey, making it impossible to read anything unless you highlight it first :( I did not fool with the windoze display settings so I am at a loss.

Hi asmith47,

You don't say which version of LW you are using.

However, the problem is probably cause by you having a foreign language pack installed in Windows. I Know this affects versions up to 7.5(a), but thought it had been resolved in later updates.

Remove foreign language packs via the control panel/windows components to solve the problem.

As a matter of fact i do... So wtf if you want to use fl characters in yer work? Say I am making a scene in Japan and I want to use japanese characters for street signs, whatever, then I am just screwed? Not to mention the po' folks who actually LIVE in foriegn countries :D NT should fix this in a patch for those who haven't upgraded to 7.5
