Here are some pictures of my Madame Mouse character that I'm working on for an animated short. I'm working on rigging now.

Thanks!
That's good that she looks French. That's what I intended. She's going to sing to an Edith Piaf song. I have a video of Edith singing La Vie En Rose so I'm going to use that as reference, sort of rotoscoping her mouth and expressions. I don't speak French, so that makes doing lip sync very much harder. Also usually when I've done any lip sync animations I've had the VO track separate from the music so I could easily see the voice in the waveform.
Here's an animation test for Madame Mouse. This is just a quick test of the bones and endomorph set-up with the mouse standing in front of my radio model. It's 715k (divx codec avi). Please let me know what you think.

Hey There!
really like the mouse! but the texture on the closed eye looks a little strange to me... a little stretched out or something?

p.s. animation looks nice, but a little crappy on my pc... maybe resolution too high or compression not ok?

Yes, the eyelids need some work if I'm going to show them closed for any length of time. Blinking seems okay though. I need to make a new separate eyelid texture.
Not sure about the AVI, maybe just too much compression?
I wanted to make the file small.
Thanks,
Don

Great character. Lots of life in her. Can really sence an energy.
I, too, couldn't get a smooth playback from the anim, but it really made me want to see more. Looking forward to the sound anim.
