Frame size default in Layout

Is there anyway - straight forward or arcane - to set the frame size default in a render to something other than 640x400? I'd like the frame size to be 1024x768 instead.

I see no (obvious) way to do that.:(

Any advice gratefully accepted.

There are several ways to achieve this. the simplest of them is editing your lw3.cfg. somewhere there is a section about default frame settings etc. Another version would be setting everything using an LScript as a startup command.

I think it's also worth mentioning that you can define your own frame presets with everything from resolution to pixel aspect by editing lw3.cfg
