Hi everybody

I want to create a TV static screen for the begging of my animation,

what i mean is when your tv signal isnt working and you get static on the

screen. I suppose the best way to describe it, is when you watch a cartoon

and when a character is looking at a TV and the TV doesnt work, you get

static lines across the screen, well thats the effect im after.

If anybody has any suggestions on this or can help in any way then that

would be great

Thanks Andy Gee

Well, I haven't seen too many cartoon static tv screens, but I beleive I recall one that used multiple thick lines with a wave filter applied and overlaid onto color noise. Perhaps you could change the wave slightly for additional images that could then be used as a sequence.
Sorry for thinking postproduction or is pre? anyways, when it comes to cartoons, I still think in 2d. Jimmy Newtron slap me.:hey:
