i was talking to a friend about Plato and Pythagoras and it lead to talking about the platonic solids. so i thought it would be interesting to boolean the 7 platonics and see what happens. well first off, i found that you can't do some of the booleans "assuming you use default settings for all the solids". some of the solids don't have over lap so the outcome of the boolean is one of the original two shapes. ie... tetrahedron and cube.
some of the booleans i came up with were interesting. one ended up having for parts that were exactly like the Zelda triforce complete with little bevel to pop the triforce off the surface behind it. some of the booleans looked like mandala type things. one looked like an eskimo painting.
here is one that i personally think is "cool" looking enough to retire my zombie avatar and have this thing symbolize me here instead.
oh yeah and I was sitting on the epiphany toilet.
