LW quits after 5 or so renders.

HI,

Has anyone experienced this and managed to get a soulution?

My LW8.5 quits without warning after rendering single frames a few times. It's like it runs out of memory and just closes and goes to Neverland. Very consistent occurence. You need to restart (not relaunch), and this is slowing things down.

P2.6Gighz, I GIG RAM, Quadro Pro 32mb.

I'm not an expert at all but I did have somewhat the same problem and found through the forum here that if I select "Off" in "Show Rendering in Progress" and "none" in "Render Display" then the rendering finishes up nicely.

Turning off render display, means using F10 instead of F9. If it works properly with both render display off and render in progress off, then it sounds to be like a display problem. Possibly a graphics driver issue. Try updating your video driver.
